(Updated May 2022)
The norm group for your project is the ‘comparison group’, to which the individuals in your project will be compared to, which provides an indication of their resilience and wellbeing in relation to other people.
Previously, Wraw used a norm group of four hundred (N=400), but this has been updated in May 2022 with the adoption of a larger (N=9,000) norm group and shows the ongoing commitment to consistently developing and updating the tool. Interestingly enough, there was little change in stens between the N=400 and the N=9000 norm group when a sten comparison was conducted. See the table below.
When creating a project, you will notice that the 'New Global Norm group 9k' (N= 9,000) is set as the default. We highly recommend that you use this norm group for all projects; rather than original 'Global Norm Group' (N = 400), as it is more representative of the global working population.
If you currently have a project mid-flight, you can choose to continue with the old norm group. Alternatively, you can switch to the new norm group and regenerate the reports at no extra cost. The old norm group will be discontinued in the near future.
