We are aware that the Wraw reports graphics do not currently display correctly in Apple's default PDF reader software - "Preview'
If you are a MAC/ Apple device user and you are using using Apple's default PDF reader software - Preview - to preview your Wraw reports, you may note some of the graphics are missing, or not displaying the correct colours.
This is a known problem with Apple's Preview app - Preview is a very basic viewer and Apple can be slow up update their PDF standards to be aligned with insustry standards; Adobe Acrobat.
Our Wraw reports are compatible with Adobe's industry standards, however the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, has a subscription fee.
For a FREE solution to previwing the Wraw reports, we recommend that you are using Chrome as your browser when you log on to your Wraw account - Download the Chrome browser
You should then download the PDF Editor for Chrome - chrome extenstion, which enables you to preview the reports in the correct format/pdf srandards.
When you generate a wraw report you will find the report in Finder, in your Downloads folder - from here, you can drag it into another folder if you want to keep a copy saved within a specific folder.
To view and print the report***
- Right click on the file and select 'Open with'
- Do not select 'Preview' - you will probably see that this is set as your default.
- Instead, select Chrome.
- A new tab will open in Chrome, which will display your report. From here you can Print your report using the Print Icon.
To permanently change your default PDF viewer (From Preview to Chrome)
- Right click on the file and select 'Open with'
- Do not select 'Preview' - you will probably see that this is set as your default.
- Instead, select 'Other'.
- The 'Applications' folder will open, scroll down and select 'Chrome'
- Check the box "Always Open With'
- Select 'Open'
- A new tab will open in Chrome, which will display your report. From here you can Print your report using the Print Icon.
***NB If you choose to reset your default PDF viewer to Chrome, then all you will have to do in future, is double click the downloaded file and it will automatically open in Chrome, you wont need to follow the steps above each time.
